Katherine Family Accommodation and Support Service

The Katherine Family Accommodation Support Service (KFASS) is a short to medium term housing program for families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, providing support through times of crisis. Outreach is offered to families leaving KFASS to assist in an effective transition into independent housing.

Nhulunbuy Services

Services include: youth and family support, financial counselling, carer respite, disability, family, general counselling and emergency relief.

Housing Options Pathways Program (HOPP)

Housing Options and Pathways Program (HOPP) provides case management support for individuals or families in public, socialor private housing who need help to maintain their tenancy. HOPP also proivides assistance to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and are on the public housing waitlist. 

Assistance with Care and Housing

Assistance with Care and Housing for the Aged (ACHA) is a referral and linkage service for older people over 65 years or over 50 years if Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or under housing stress. The program assists people to explore a range of housing options and provides linkages and referral services to other programs.

Crisis Accommodation

Crisis accommodation is available for homeless women and children; and also for those escaping domestic violence and sexual assault.

Short Term Crisis Accommodation and Support

Short term crisis accommodation for women and their children. Victims of domestic violence and/or family violence or at risk of domestic violence and/or family violence or are homeless. Referrals, support, safety, outreach support and counselling.

Withdrawal Program - Darwin

Supervised residential withdrawal is available to men and women, aged 18 years and over, who are seeking to withdraw from alcohol and/or other drugs. Withdrawal is co-managed with Alcohol & Other Drug Services (Department of Health NT) or with client’s Doctor who will provide medical supervision during withdrawal period. Withdrawal timeframes vary and can last up to 2 weeks however most clients are admitted for 5 to 7 days. All clients are assigned a Case Manager who provides information, counseling and support during withdrawal.

Old Timers Village caters for older Indigenous people providing residential care particularly to those suffering from disabilities and chronic health problems.
