Withdrawal Program - Darwin

Supervised residential withdrawal is available to men and women, aged 18 years and over, who are seeking to withdraw from alcohol and/or other drugs. Withdrawal is co-managed with Alcohol & Other Drug Services (Department of Health NT) or with client’s Doctor who will provide medical supervision during withdrawal period. Withdrawal timeframes vary and can last up to 2 weeks however most clients are admitted for 5 to 7 days. All clients are assigned a Case Manager who provides information, counseling and support during withdrawal. Clients undertaking withdrawal are not required to attend groups however must comply with all other requirements outlined in the client handbook. Withdrawal clients will not be allowed to leave the Centre unsupervised at any time.
Withdrawal clients can be assessed and move into the Residential Rehabilitation Program, which is a structured 12 week program available to men and women, aged 18 years and over.
