Youth Accommodation and Other Services

BushMob runs a residential facility for young people aged 12 to 25 years of age, wanting to get their lives back on track without alcohol, drugs or sniffing.

The BushMob residential service provides:
- 24 hour care
- case management
- counselling, brief interventions and life skill development programs
- education and training, and positive life choices
- some outreach support available

The BushMob residential program requires the participants to undertake alcohol and other drug assessments, receive medical check-ups and receive counselling.

Bush Adventure Therapy Program

An early intervention program providing weekly, overnight and two-week adventure bush trips and camps. The program works to prevent youth homelessness; drug, alcohol and sniffing misuse and disconnection of young people from their school, family and community.

Residential Rehabilitation Centre

Provides accommodation in a residential treatment centre for those with alcohol or other drug problems.

Sobering-Up Shelter

An overnight accommodation shelter is available for those who need to sober up following drug and alcohol misuse.

Ampe Akweke Place

Provides accommodation for young mums & bubs who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless .
Ampe Akweke Program provides accommodation for short - medium term for 12yrs - 23yrs, who are having a baby.
Ampe Akweke offers both Outreach support & residential support for young Mums & Bubs.
Accommodation can be provided for one night or up to 3 months.

Crisis Refuge

Provides accommodation for young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Crisis Refuge Program provides safe supported accommodation for short - medium term for 12yrs - 17yrs. Accommodation can be provided for one night or up to 3 months.

Youth Housing Program

Provides accommodation for young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Residents are provided education & training programs for the duration of their stay. Living skills & training are also incorporated in the program.
The program provides an opportunity for young people to acquire a positive rental reference when applying for housing in the private rental market.
Accommodation can be provided up to 12 months.

Women's Refuge

The women's refuge provides short term crisis accommodation for women, with or without children, escaping domestic violence.

Silas Roberts Hostel

Silas Roberts hostel caters for Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander people who require accommodation at a subsided rate where part of the fee is funded by AHL.

Independent Cabins

Self-contained accommodation is available for the aged capable of independent living.
