Supported Independent Living

Full time person-centred support and accommodation to enable people with a disability to access and enjoy a safe, comfortable and fulfilling life in their home and in the community.

Aherlkeme Development Centre

This is a 12 month program that provides transitional accommodation and support to eligible participants as approved and referred by Territory Housing who are experiencing issues with housing and homelessness. There is a signficant emphasis on case management to provide skills for living in the communtiy and to assist residents in independent living.

Venture Housing Company Ltd

Venture Housing Company is a not-for-profit registered Tier 1 community housing provider, established in 2011.

Venture owns and manages 582 social and affordable homes across Darwin, Palmerston and Tennant Creek districts in the Northern Territory.

Venture’s vision is: “Thriving Residents and Connected Communities” and its purpose is “Creating Futures through Affordable Housing”.

Independence Program - Alice Springs (TIPAS)

Provide regular outreach support, assist families with physical and material needs and help them to obtain permanent housing.

Todd Street Program

The Salvation Army Men’s Program is a specialist service providing accommodation and support to adult males who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

Crerar Road Accommodation Site

Short term and crisis accommodation for First Nations peoples with medical issues. Operated by Catholic Care NT.

Short-Long Term Accommodation

Short-long term accommodation for Homeless and Disadvantaged people over 18 years

Topsy Smith Hostel

Long term hostel accommodation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander renal patients and their carer/partner. Three meals each day. A safe and secure environment with a night attendant. Assistance with accessing: Centrelink services, renal services, aged care referrals etc.

Post Release Support Service - Darwin

Assist people to access housing on release from prison; focuses on mainstream prisoners due for release within 3 months.

Darwin Region Accommodation Management Service

Formally know as Mission Australia Supported Accommodation. Accommodation in one 4 bedroom house in Milner Female only. One 4 bedroom house in Anula and one 4 bedroom house in Karama for single rooms for men 18 years old and over, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
