Banyan House offers a medium to long term residential rehabilitation program in a contemporary setting in Berrimah - for people struggling with alcohol and other drug addiction.

Banyan House is a non-smoking facility. During your assessment you will be able to discuss any issues you have with our intake and assessment team.

We accommodate people struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health challenges. Following the principles of Community as Method – Therapeutic Community (TC), we provide a safe setting for your Recovery. Medically supervised withdrawals done in partnership with NT Department of Health (AOD Withdrawal Services). Services and support include: Medium term residential recovery program assisting both Indigenous and non-Indigenous clients, individual and group counselling, financial management advice, support with legal and health issues, family support, referral and liaison with other services, parenting programs (contracted as required), education, relapse prevention, MATRIX Program, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Veterans’ Affairs: Banyan House also provide community based treatment for alcohol and substance use disorders through residential recovery.

Fees: 
Fees will vary depending on your individual circumstances. All residents will pay an administration fee of $120 on entering the program. Centrelink clients will pay 80% of their gross payment. Privately funded clients will pay $252 per week.

Eligibility Criteria: 
People over the age of 18 years old struggling with addiction (sexual offences and serious acts of violence against are exclusion criteria). Meals provided only for residential program participants.
