Darwin Community Legal Services Aged and Disabilty Service has a free Elder Abuse Information line. Anyone is welcome to phone the Elderly Abuse Information Line (EAIL) on 1800 037 072. Elder Abuse is an act, or failure to act which causes harm or distress to an older person from within a relationship of trust. Elder abuse might occur once or be ongoing. Elder abuse can include physical, financial, sexual, emotional/psychologicala abuse. social isolation or neglect.
