Community Wellbeing & Healing Program

The Community Wellbeing & Healing program provides culturally appropriate wellbeing and healing programs, and activities in partnership with Larrakia Nation. The community wellbeing and healing program is part of the Darwin –National suicide prevention trial. We work towards improving outcomes for individuals and families so they can feel supported and empowered to thrive within their community, improving sense of belonging within a positive community, and enriching social connectedness

The program aims include;

  • Building resilience and improving social and emotional wellbeing in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Improving sense of belonging and enriching social connectedness in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Providing a safe space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to access and engage in cultural wellbeing and healing activities.
