CAAFLU is a legal service employing Aboriginal workers. CAAFLU provides cultural legal solutions and helps Indigenous families deal with violence in a positive way involving the community and community values whilst promoting law and justice. Services and support include: domestic violence orders, compensation for victims of family violence, family law (where it relates to family violence), court support, child protection and assistance with housing. CAAFLU listens and works with communities around family violence and its effects on families. CAAFLU also offers early intervention and prevention services for male  and female children, young people and adults affected by family violence. CAAFLU is a justice, advisory and referral centre for victims of family violence.
